One of the most luxurious homes in Nashville’s Forest Hills community, and one of the few to be built there since the 1960s, will be sold in an absolute auction Saturday, June 5.

The home was built in 2007 at a time when luxury homes in Tennessee were having a hard time selling. The home is now owned by Pinnacle Bank and has never had an owner. That will change on June 5, according to Will McLemore, president of Nashville-based McLemore Auction Company, which is selling the property for Pinnacle Bank. Selling at absolute auction means the home will go to the highest bidder with no minimum bid or reserve. This is something rarely seen in the Nashville area in the last few years, as very few luxury homes have sold without a reserve, said McLemore.
The home has around 8,600 square feet, a master suite with a see-through fireplace, a wine cellar and a home theater. Also, the luxury home, on 2.32 acres, has five bedrooms, five full baths (three half-baths), and a grand foyer with a marble floor.
The auction for Tennessee’s Forest Hills Luxury Home will begin at 11 a.m. at the home, located at 1138 Balbade Drive. Buyer must put down a ten percent deposit immediately after being named the high bidder with escrow closing by June 28.
