The highly anticipated Sex in the City 2 movie features an exciting final scene in which the character Big captures the heart of New York City diva Carrie Bradshaw and presents her with a stunning 5 carat black diamond ring and tells her because you are not like anyone else. This piece of jewellery is arguably the most significant piece of jewellery in the movie’s entirety which all fans are talking about: a 5 carat black diamond ring by designer Itay Malkin.
This stylish ring is set in 18 karat white gold with 80 round natural white pave diamonds equaling 0.35 carats. Malkin worked in collaboration with Sarah Jessica Parker and costume designer Patricia Field on the final design of the ring. The Itay Malkin ring is the only piece of jewelry from the movie that has been held to secrecy due to its importance in the plot, debuting for the first time on the big screen.
For Sex and the City fans who must have all things Carrie, the Black Diamond Ring from the film is now going to be identically produced and will retail for $10,000. Each will include a limited edition serial number and a certificate. It will be available at Patricia Field as well as by contacting Itay Malkin Designs.
