This 2/3 scale version the 1955 D-Type Jaguar Children’s Car is ready to be sold at the Bonham’s Goodwood Revival Collectors’ Sports Cars, Motor Cars and Automobilia auction on September 17, 2010, in Chichester, Sussex.
The power for this British built recreation of the legendary ‘long nose’ 1955 D-Type Jaguar comes from a four stroke 110cc ohv electric start petrol engine. The paddock car features a four speed automatic gearbox and a rear mounted external engine kill switch, which parents can use if required. The car has an all-aluminum chassis, which comes complete with double wishbone front suspension, coil over shock units, drum brakes and a geared steering. The interior of the “Little D” flaunts suede green upholstery.
D-Type Jaguar Children’s Car is probably the finest and most exclusive children’s car of its type in the world, which is being sold complete with its own custom built trailer for easy transportation. The D-Type Jaguar children’s car, expected to sell for between £10,000 ($16,000) and £12,000 ($19,000).
