At the Paris Motor Show, Maybach unveil its high-end luxury saloons with added sparkle and with significantly extended high-class equipment and individualisation options. For 2011 year, the Maybach 57, 57S, 62 and 62S feature a handful of cosmetic, mechanical and interior equipment upgrades. The exterior benefits from a new grille (now different between the standard and S models), hood, tail lights and door mirrors, which, in addition to refreshing the limo’s looks, also reduces wind noise for a quieter ride. Underneath the new hood, meanwhile, Daimler has optimized the V12 engine for marginally reduced emissions and fuel consumption, and while the standard engine stays pegged at 542 horsepower, the S version gets an 18-horse boost to 630.
On the inside, you can opt for a Maybach 62 models rear reclining seat, hand-braided or Swarovski encrusted seat piping, a delicate flacon perfume atomizer, a WLAN router internet access and a 19-inch cinema screen. The Maybach 62 and 62 S models come with additional option of an overview camera specially fitted for the entertainment for the rear passengers.
The seat backrest will features the text “Maybach Manufaktur” in 925 sterling silver, customers can also add colored carbom fiber trims in silver of red for a more dramatic effect. The car however will be available in Bahamas Blue color.
