Excalibur – The World’s Tallest Climbing Wall (Photo by KAPturer)
It seems that a lack of hills has finally got to the Dutch. They have built Excalibur tower, what is being billed as the world’s highest climbing wall. Set amongst the plains of Groningen, Excalibur towers 121 feet (37 meters) with an overhang of 36 feet (11 meters).
The curved design results in sections that are easy for beginners to tackle, as well as some extremely difficult parts where experienced climbers will literally find themselves hanging. Made from a steel and wood Excalibur tower is truly a challenge.
In case you were wondering how these shot were taken, they were taken by a Eric Kieboom.
