Romain Jerome MoonFighter Fountain Pen
A luxury pen made from actual Apollo II spaceship parts and moon dust is the last thing super geeks could ever wish for. Swiss maker Romain Jerome has just made the dream come true by crafting the MoonFighter Pen using tiny bits of crushed metal from Apollo II spacecraft sprinkled with actual moon dust.
The curved, streamlined barrel of the MoonFighter is studded with 48 hand-fixed rivets which add to its aesthetic appeal. The design also features a forward-jutting profile with toothed plates like the ventilation apertures on an aircraft fuselage, which reminds us of its space history origin. The cap is equipped with three small blades, engraved with the initials RJ. The pen rests in its docking station with an evocative winged design, much like a fighter plane awaiting take off, to ideally complete its spacecraft-inspired design.
Available in three versions, Black Metal, Vintage and Heavy Metal, the Romain Jerome MoonFighter fountain pen is a limited creation restricted to 888 pieces of each version.
