Lamborghini seems to be in a roll. After the ASUS -Lamborghini Eee PC VX6, the Lamborghini gardening tools, the car giants are all set to welcome yet another accessory into its happy family. Tonino teams up with Lamborghini yet again with a Spyder line of luxury mobile phones.
There are six models, S-600, S-610, S-620, S-670, S-680 and S-685, all have a luxurious box and packaging and come with a Tonino Lamborghini-branded headset. The higher-end S-670, S-680 and S-685 have rose gold, gold and black/gold PVD finishes, while the S-600 gets DLC (Diamond-Like Coating) and S-610 and S-620 have black PVD finish.
Out now in Hong Kong, the Tonino Lamborghini Spyder Series of handsets feature a 2.2-inch display, 3 megapixel camera, 4GB internal storage, and, if you shell out a little extra, a crocodile skin back. They support quad-band 2.75GB GSM/EDGE networks but not 3G. Every Tonino Lamborghini Spyder phones are hand crafted and hand polished (makes no sense since you’ll have to polish it yourself as well, by hand after your fingerprints smudge the daylights out of it).
The phones cost between HK$13,800 (US$1,781) and HK$21,800 (US$2,813).
