After the limited edition Leica M9 wrapped in ostrich leather, the Limited Edition Leica M9 Titanium and the Leica M9 in Nile Crocodile Leather Half Case we have the new Limited Edition Leica M9 Silver Chrome. New Leica M9 shared all the same technical breakthroughs as the standard edition, from its full-frame 18 Megapixel sensor, the interchangeable Leica Summicron 35mm f/2 lens, to the sapphire coated 2.5-inch LCD display and its marquee as the world’s only digital rangefinder camera. Finished in silver chrome, the body is covered in rich ostrich leather with matching strap.
Originally listed as the Neiman Marcus Edition and part of the department store’s fanciful Christmas catalog, the Leica M9 Limited Edition – in Silver Chrome & Ostrich Leather, is now available at select Leica retailers nationwide for $12,950. Only 50 will be made available.
Compared to the Neiman Marcus Edition, these Limited Edition Leica M9 Sets offered by Leica Camera does NOT include the customer’s signature engraving on the M9, personal delivery by Leica’s Trained Product Representative, Certificate of Authenticity by Leica’s CEO, 3 Year Passport Warranty, Memory Card and a Dedicated Leica Hotline.
