Limited Edition TAG Heuer Steve McQueen Motorcycle Helmet

In November 2009 we wrote about Triumph and TAG Heuer one-of-a-kind Bonneville Heuer motorcycle inspired by Steve McQueen and the Porsche 917k that the famous actor, racecar driver and motorcycle rider piloted in the classic film Le Mans. Unfortunately the super-cool bike was never offered for sale. Steve McQueen was king of cool in the 60s and early 70s, thanks to performances in films like The Great Escape, Bullitt, The Thomas Crown Affair and the above-mentioned Le Mans.

Now TAG Heuer is tapping into that cool with a Limited Edition TAG Heuer Steve McQueen Motorcycle Helmet, also inspired by the King of Cool, who wore a Heuer Monaco watch in the movie. The retro-styled fiberglass helmet, which features a racing stripe matching the colors on McQueen’s driving gear, vintage Heuer logo, steel hardware and leather trim, is priced at about $650.

Steve McQueen
