The Dalmore Eos 59-Year-Old Single Malt
Viking Line’s annual Whisky Fair, a key event in the Nordic travel retail liquor calendar, begins today and runs over the weekend until 16 January on board the ferry group’s M/S Cinderella. Among the key attractions this year will be the Dalmore Eos, one of 20 worldwide, 59-Year-Old Single Malt. The bottle will be on sale for SEK166,250 ($24,270) and will be the most expensive whisky ever sold at the event if purchased. The buyer will also be entitled to a VIP trip to the Dalmore distillery in Scotland.
Viking Line Tax Free Manager Kurt Blomqvist said: The Dalmore has a range of world-class whiskies and it’s great to have the brand involved with the show. Having Dalmore EOS at the fair is really an outstanding moment for us as it is the only bottle that will be for sale in Scandinavia.
Eos follows in a long line of rare vintages released by The Dalmore including the record breaking Dalmore Trinitas which was the first whisky to break the £100,000 barrier. The Dalmore will also be showcasing the core range of products including the 12 and 18 years old as well as Gran Reserva during the whisky show.
