If we have to describe Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2011 collection for Louis Vuitton in three words, that would be glamour, gloss and glitter. The Monogram Nova is a piece of miniature luxury and the price of $35,500 telling us that we won`t see this spectacular handbag so often.
What makes the Monogram Nova so unique and expensive is how it was made: The handbag’s monogram LV logo pattern was hand applied and then adorned with black and silver Swarovski crystals. Amazing thing about Nova is the precision and the perfection achieved by painstakingly applying each piece of crystal by hand.
This extra ordinary bag was carried by 80′s supermodel Kristen McMenamy. If you want to own it you will have to wait for sale in April 2011.
