625HP Supercharged Chevrolet Camaro SS by Schmidt Revolution
Schmidt Revolution is one of the very few European tuning companies which started to modify American muscle cars and their newest project is based on the Chevrolet Camaro SS and called the Black Cat which features a considerable power boost.
First, the car’s performances were raised a lot thanks to a special compressor kit from Speed Box priced at €8,999 or about $12,300 and a high performance stainless steel exhaust system from Borla which costs around €1,000 or $1,370 at today’s currency exchange rates. Thanks to these upgrades, the power of the 6.2L V8 engine from the Camaro SS was raised to a breathtaking 625-horsepower.
The Herten, Germany-based tuner also borrows some 22-inch rims from retailer Schmidt Revolution for the Rhino wheels which feature 265/30-R22 and 295/25-R22 tires, front and back, respectively, wrapped around the 10 x 22″ and 11 x 22″ rims. Cost for the wheels package is €3,999 ($5,500). Rims are also available in 9 x 20″. The program can be complemented by a matte black body finish priced at €3,500 ($4,800).
