It’s great thing when you can combine the love for cars, love for furniture and love for gadgets into one place. Gaming chairs, F1 style comfort and other such branded things are already available, but is more interesting to make them from the start. Designer David Gawthorpe has spent two years doing just that.
David decided to make his gaming armchair from a front of his black Mini Cooper. And he was successful! He has made a multi-function console chair, neatly tucked under the Mini Cooper’s hood. The ultimate gaming chair includes an Xbox, 500-watt amplifier, strobe and laser lights, stereo sound, lasers, a fridge at the back and even a remote-controlled smoke machine. You can also plug into your TV for turning the gaming chair into luxurious home theater seating.
Alloy wheels can turn into additional two seats for when you have company. This seat can be folded in order to ensure that only resembles a cover of Mini Cooper without even suspecting that a super chair is hiding inside.
This little wonder armchair will surely be created in multiple copies. For now, the only prototype of the Mini Cooper chair that existed has been sold to a London entrepreneur, who bought the concept through a reality TV show on which it was featured. His plan is to put it up on sale in his shop in Pimlico and sold for £8,000 ($12,970). [Metro]
