Breitling for Bentley Supersport Light Body Chronograph Watch
Near Oulu in northern Finland, a special version of the Bentley Continental GTC Supersports set a new world speed record on ice by driving at the impressive speed of 205.48 mph (330.695 km/h), thereby shattering the previous record also set by Bentley with a Continental GT in 2007.
Sponsor Breitling’s name was emblazoned across the side of the car, while the record-setting driver, Juha Kankkunen, also wore a limited edition Bentley Supersports Light Body watch with an ultra-light titanium case, one of the new Breitling for Bentley chronographs combining exceptional performances with an unconventional look and which is to be unveiled at the upcoming Baselworld 2011 watch show.
This new titanium model is likely to be about 45mm wide with an automatic COSC Chronometer certified chronograph movement inside. The red and black motif of the dial is sporty, and becoming of the design. To keep things light, the watch will come on a black rubber strap. Like many Breitling watches, this one has a rotating slide rule bezel.
The titanium-cased Breitling for Bentley Supersport Light Body watch is set to be officially unveiled at Baselworld 2011.
