Harman Kardon Go+Play Micro Portable Loudspeaker Dock
The Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro is the portable loudspeaker dock with a look and a sound that immediately identify its Harman Kardon heritage. If you’re looking for a system that sounds as good as it looks, this is it. With an arched handle that seamlessly integrates with the system and a dock that displays your player in an easy-to-navigate and almost altar-like presentation the Go + Play Micro is sleek and refined.
Beneath the arch are the control buttons – all three of them – and the all important docking station. To make sure it fits every iPhone/iPod under the sun there is a large screw that can be raised to allow your device to sit in the right place. As for those three buttons, you’ll get a power switch and volume up and down. There are no equaliser buttons and no extra “boom box” features. Harman Kardon is all about creating a natural sound and, therefore, believes that if you want to do something to that sound, the iPhone and its plethora of equaliser settings are just as good.
The Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro’s audio components include two (left and right) of Harman Kardon’s Odyssey midrange/high-frequency drivers, each hidden behind a metal grille on the front of the system. On the bottom, behind a similar grille, sits a 5-inch Atlas subwoofer. The system provides 15 Watts of power per channel for the left and right drivers, along with 30 Watts for the subwoofer.
The system also comes with a remote for basic operations control without having to get up from your favorite spot. One more slick feature of the system is a video output to TV for watching your movies on the big screen.
