Breitling for Bentley GT Racing Ice
At this year’s Baselworld, Breitling is set to introduce a special, all-white version of both the Bentley GT and the Bentley GT Racing Timepieces. These chronographs, already distinguished by their size, which is more compact than the other Breitling for Bentley models making them suited to all wrists, now also offer a distinctive and instantly-identifiable look.
The new Ice version of both the chronographs features an Ice White dial, an exclusive Bentley livery color and a rubber strap in the same shade. The dials, enhanced by rimmed counters, evoke the dashboards of Bentley Grand Tourers. So the bezel is reminiscent of the marque’s control buttons and the caseback bears a medallion with the outline of the famous Bentley Continental GT.
Both Breitling for Bentley watches are driven by the self-winding, Breitling Calibre 13B chronograph movement. It’s chronometer-certified by the COSC and equipped with a calendar displaying the day and date through a large twin aperture at 3 o’clock. The bidirectional rotating bezel serves to activate the variable tachometer, a world-exclusive Breitling feature. When used in conjunction with the chronograph, this system enables the user to measure mean speed whatever the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached.
Both the Breitling for Bentley GT Ice and Bentley GT Racing Ice are priced at $7,165. [Haute Living]
