Gresso Luxor World Time Gold Phone
Gresso, the luxury phone maker has announced its latest expensive creation, the Luxor World Time Gold Phone, the gilded version of its lately launched Luxor World Time mobile phone designed for the businessmen living in the rhythm of universal time. Both handsets have been especially designed to show users the time of the five major world business centers: Tokyo, Moscow, Paris, London and New York. The sixth clock on the back of the phone can be adjusted by users as they see fit. However, they won’t be able to change the location of any of the five pre-defined clocks.
While the body of the Luxor World Time Gold is made of 18K gold, the screen is framed by two-sided sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The rear panel of the phone features genuine black Italian leather finish. The front panel is decked with ornamental ultra-thin bezel of polished solid 18k gold. The keypad is fitted with crystal sapphire keys that sport laser etched numbers and letters.
Feature-wise, Luxor World Time Gold is not meant to be a top-tier mobile phone. The phone’s small display supports up to 262k colors and 240 x 320 pixels resolution. It also packs 30 MB internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion, though only up to 2GB. The tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900) bar phone sports a 2-megapixel camera and a standard 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 300 hours of standby time or up to 5 hours of talk time.
It is worth mentioning that besides its sleek form factor (12 mm thickness), the phone’s ultra-thin body, which houses the clock mechanisms, has a thickness of only 2mm.
The Gresso Luxor World Time Gold is available through official Gresso dealers and the online boutique for $30,000. [Gresso]
