Nieve Jennings Modeled £100,000 Platinum Dress and £200,000 Necklace
Former Miss Scotland Nieve Jennings unveiled Scottish jeweller Rox’s platinum jewellery exhibition on April 5, where she modelled a £100,000 Platinum Dress and £200,000 Necklace made from the precious metal and set with diamonds. The dress will be on show at Rox until Tuesday April 12, as part of the annual Platinum Guild International UK exhibition, which showcases the work of some of the UK’s most talented up and coming jewellery designers.
The exclusive platinum dress is cautiously designed by Italian couturier Domo Adami with microscopic threads of platinum. Nieve Jennings was the show stopper with this amazing £100,000 platinum dress and accessorized with ‘P jewellery’ from the collection – the Aqua necklace by Orlando Orlandini worth £200,000.
Describing the dress and jewellery that she modelled, Jennings, a former Miss World contestant, said: Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and like every girl I love to dress up and feel glamorous. The platinum dress and necklace are absolutely stunning and it’s definitely worth coming down to Rox to see them.
According to the Rox co-owner Kyron Keogh they believe in supporting the talented and up-coming jewellery designers. PGI holds the competition annually and this year it was judged by the jewellery designers Shaun Leane and Stephen Webster. It’s the first time PGI has sponsored a touring exhibition of the winning designs and is pleased that Rox granted to host this exhibition in Scotland. [Professional Jeweller]
