One of the most prestigious cars any Ferrari enthusiast can own is the 599XX. Ferrari’s XX line of cars, as you know, are a rolling test-bed for new technologies that will eventually filter across to Ferrari’s future road and race cars. The first was the awesome FXX and subsequent FXX Evolution, both based on the Enzo platform and developing upwards of 850 horsepower. The second was the 599XX based on the 599 GTB Fiorano platform, and like the FXX before it was only offered to a very select group of customers known as Ferrari client test drivers.

It’s hard to believe that anyone that owns a Ferrari 599XX would so easily put his on the market, but some guy over in France has done so. The seller must have lost his memory or senses even to be putting up something as unique as this on sale, but in dire times we do the impossible. However, if you are one of few who has some extra cash in the likes of €1,315,600, or about $1,870,000 at the current rates, stacked away somewhere and don’t know what to do with,  you can be the proud owner of a black Ferrari 599XX with a matching black interior and only 932 miles on the odometer.

The 599XX, based on the 599 GTB platform, features an upgraded 6.0L V12 powerplant that pushes out 700-hp. Ferrari also lightened the entire body and enhanced the aerodynamics in order to make it a more formidable car on the race track. The result is a 6:58.16 time at the Nurburgring, the second fastest time recorded for a production-derived sports car.
