Voila Studio’s Handelier
Voila Studio, based in Los Angeles, California, creates Handelier,a collection of light fittings that bear the shape of a human hand. This original Voila Studio creation is shaped like a bunch of downward facing hands and is crafted from antique aluminum glove moulds. The moulds are perforated so light can pass through the holes and illuminate the required space. Inside the glove moulds are special Edison light bulbs.
This eye catching chandelier is completely customizable and requires 4 weeks lead time to be made. With a diameter of 12” and 75” height each handelier is bespoke works of art. Handelier retails at a price tag of $3,160. The hand collection has other pieces like a standing light fixture, a desk lamp and a sconce or wall lamp. [Viola!]
