Special Edition Zenvo ST-1 50S for North America with 1,250hp
This is the white one. There will also be one in red and one in blue. And that’s it. The North American Special Edition Zenvo ST-1 50S.
Zenvo Automotive is Denmark’s first supercar maker, and its first model, the ST-1, limited to 15 units, comes with the company’s, handmade in-house, seven-litre turbocharged V8, for which Jesper Jensen, Zenvo founder, claims 1,104hp and 1,430Nm. It’s one of the most dramatic looking and most powerful production cars available, yet most aren’t even aware of its existence. This 50S version is sure to get the name onto the map though.
Not much is done in terms of styling, except for the magnesium wheels and the special individual monogrammed seats. However, the real deal happens when you lift the bonnet as there are no less than 1,250 horsepower and 1,500 Nm (1,105 lb.ft.) of torque available for you to play with. All special edition cars come with standard F1 7-speed transmission, which is normally offered as an option on the regular ST1.
Zenvo made no word on acceleration figures, but we assume it should be slightly faster than the standard 1,104hp ST-1 that completes the 62mph (0-100km/h) sprint in just 3.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 233 mph (375 km/h).
The Zenvo is also remarkable on a lot of other fronts as well. State-of-the-art fixtures like keyless entry, satnav, a power telescoping steering wheel, and electrically-adjustable leather-clad racing seats put the car right up along the best in its class. But the company is leaving no stone un-turned in making every Zenvo appear as exclusive as possible.
For the select few who will manage to get a hand on one of these mean machines, a limited edition time piece from Aspen (itself worth $49,000) is also among the gifts. Of course the $1.8 million price tag on the car itself makes the watch’s price look like loose change. The Danish superscar is coming to America courtesy of Red Sea Distribution.
