Walt Disney is certainly a man who entered the homes of children and adults around the world through his cartoon characters. For someone, his home can be happiest place on Earth. And now, Walt Disney’s home in the trendy Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles is on sale for $3,65 million!
The house was built according to Disney’s specifications, especially for him and he lived in it from 1932 to 1950! Walt was rapidly working on construction of his home which is complete with 12 bedrooms, completely original hardwood floors, original stained glass and a private projection room. Rumor has it that Walt may have utilized this home for initial shootings of parts of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. It also features a Mediterranean-style entry; a circular rotunda and painted ceilings decorate the interior and a pool in the backyard.
Walt Disney owned several Los Angeles properties, including a well-known residence he kept on 355 North Carolwood Drive which has since been destroyed. He also built a property at 2495 Lyric Avenue which stands today. [Walt Disney LA Home]
