After a series of delays, London’s most high-tech, the Eccleston Square Hotel is set to open its doors August 1. This ultra-modern hideaway inside a central London Georgian building is located on the border of Belgravia and Victoria in London, within walking distance of the Victoria travel hub and its theatres.
All 39 rooms are equipped with electrically adjustable Hästens massage beds, the latest 46-inch Panasonic 3D LED TV, complimentary 3D blu-ray movie library, VoIP phones, high pressure rainfall showers and a programmable wake up and sleep experience. All rooms feature the iPad 2, from which guests can control curtains, heating and lighting, request in-room services, and even reserve a table at one of London’s hottest nightclubs. Guests can use The Media Lounge, a screening room with a 103-inch Panasonic 3D media wall television.
Although the room’s contain peekaboo bathrooms, guests have the option to make the glass clear or opaque at the touch of a button. Plus, there is a bathroom television built into its heated mirror.
Hungry guests need not leave their rooms for a midnight snack. The hotel’s website said rooms contain a well stocked mini bar that is priced to reflect late-night convenience store rates. Snacks can be complimented by an in-room Nespresso machine, which staff stocks daily with free Nespresso capsules and a variety of teas.
