Famous pop star, Lady Gaga has teamed up with infamous fashion photographer Terry Richardson to release a Book of Photos chronicling her past year on the road. Lady Gaga’s Book of Photographs will feature more than 350 unseen photos of the megastar – a selection from around 100,000 images taken by the controversial photographer who followed Gaga’s every step for ten months. The color, and black and white photographs were captured between Lollapalooza in August 2010 and the Grammy Awards in February 2011.
The pop star’s publisher, Grand Central Publishing, describes the book, Lady Gaga, as a visual dialogue (a.k.a., a picture book) which will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the singer’s life. It will be one of the most stunning, provocative and coveted books of the 2011 holiday season, Grand Central writes, … nothing was off limits.
This is not the first time Richardson and Gaga have worked together. The photographer shot an iconic photo of the singer that appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone last year.
Gaga, who was recently shot by Richardson for this soaking wet Supereme shoot, will write the forward to the book which is scheduled to be published on November 22, 2011.
