Russian Standard Vodka has announced the launched of a special edition of luxury brand Imperia – Swarovski Crystal Crown Edition. Dazzling bottle of this precious drink is decorated with 24 Swarovski crystal beads intended to symbolise the purity of the spirit. Quartz crystal is a mineral mined in Russia’s Ural mountains.
The product was launched in Vietnam, and will roll out to other key markets, including travel retail in the US. Limited to 20,000 bottles, Swarovski Crystal Crown Edition will be available from this month in high-end hotels, restaurants, clubs, premium stores and specialised spirits retailers as well as across travel retail in leading international airports.
Russian Standard commercial director global duty-free and Asia/Pacific Walter Kooijman said: We are proud to present the Imperia Crystal Crown Edition, a 21st-century revisit of the time-honoured tradition of vodka heritage, and the imperial luxury which drives us to ultimate perfection. The elegant Imperia crown cap references the special place that hats and headwear have held in Russian society for centuries, as the height of one’s headpiece traditionally indicated one’s social status. Our customers, who demand only the best, will surely enjoy this last word in luxury, he concluded.
Price is still unknown, but this special edition vodka will be available in 50cl, 70cl, 75cl and 100cl bottles.
