They say size doesn’t matter, but Ashton Kutcher would beg to differ. Judging by the size of his new trailer, Kutcher is going to be getting the royal treatment on the set this Two and a Half Men season. Kutcher, who is replacing Charlie Sheen on Warner Brothers’ Show following the death of Sheen’s character, is going to be getting the royal treatment on the set this upcoming season.
Kutcher’s home away from home on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank is massive, sporting satellite TV capability, two stories and several pop out compartments to make the double-wide even wider. In fact, the two-storey, 30-ton luxury home used by Kutcher isn’t called a trailer, it’s described as a mobile estate. The mobile estate in concern is a total of 53 ft in length and is 13 ft 6 inches high when closed and 17 feet when opened. This luxury caravan has a total space of around 1100 sq ft, of which 603 sq ft space is on the main lower deck and 340 sq ft on upper retractable floor. Very interestingly, the whole process of raising the upper floor takes close to 30 seconds only, after which Mr. Kutcher is ready for taking it for his journey.
The furniture is specially designed to fold or collapse in order to accommodate the retractable top and side sections. Amenities include 2 bathrooms, living area, bedrooms, conference space and also the retractable Hollywood style spiral staircase which connects the floors, and never the least, the fully equipped kitchen. What also creates the royal ambience inside the trailer is the extensive polished oak-wood work on the walls, the generous polished granites and marbles in the kitchen counters and the bathroom insides, and seven 60 inch 3D plasma screen TV.

Cameras mounted on the outside of the trailer offer 360-degree video security and surveillance. When a visitor hits the doorbell, the volume on the stereo system and TV drops inside and the image of the visitor appears on the various screens located throughout.
Designed by Ron Anderson of Anderson Mobile Estates, these mobile behemoths are built to the stars’ specifications. Previous residents have included Mariah Carey, Sharon Stone and Vin Diesel. In addition to his four rental vehicles: Baby Girl, The Heat, Studio One and Aspen, Anderson has sold nine of the mobile units to people he describes as among the richest on the planet. The cost is $2 million each.
