Famous superstar country couple, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary in October this year. Just at the right time to mark the occasion, Barbie Doll maker Mattel is adding Faith Hill and Tim McGraw dolls to its pop culture line of Barbies.
Country music’s ultimate power doll couple is dressed to the nines, with Tim in his signature shiny black cowboy hat, and Faith in a sparkly black lace gown and shoulder-skimming earrings. Prototyping for dolls lasted for two months and the couple was involved in the design process from the beginning.
Tim and Faith sent us photos of every detail, says Barbie Collector designer Linda Kyaw, including Tim’s complete suit, piece-by-piece; and Faith’s dress, make-up, and clear shots of her hair preference. The couple knew exactly what they wanted to see in doll form, and they helped us achieve the best possible results.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Doll Gift Set will go on sale in September at Barbie Collector and will retail for $69,95.
