Marilyn Monroe’s emerald green dress has been sold to a private buyer for $504,000, far above pre-sale estimates of $200,000 to $300,000. Legendary actress wore that velour dress while she sang I’m Gonna File My Claim in the 1954 film River of No Return in which she portrayed Kay Washington, a gambler’s wife.
