The luxury Scotch whisky distiler, Chivas Regal, is continuing its commitment to contemporary design this winter with a collaboration with New York illustrator Dan Funderburgh to launch a Limited Edition Gift Tin for its 12- year-old blend.
Inspired by the Chivas Regal heraldic crest, the tin features a striking gold image of the luxury Scotch whisky house’s lion emblem. Referencing the complex depth of the smooth brew, the image of the lion is composed of many textural layers.
Commenting on the designer collaboration, James Slack, Brand Director for Chivas Regal, said: Known for contemporary, baroque designs inspired by historical ornamentation, Dan was the perfect artist to reflect the distinctive style and rich heritage of Chivas Regal.
Chivas Regal has long embraced the design community and has previously partnered with high profile names such as Christian Lacroix, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood.
