The Whiteface Lodge, the vision of a former Olympian and developer is completed in 2005. This luxury resort and private residence club surrounds you in the elegance and hospitality of a classic mountain resort hotel, where log cabin construction, stone chimneys and decorative timber woodwork pay tribute to time-honored craftsmanship.
The Whiteface Lodge is the first resort in the Northeast with a private residence club, with 85 suites. In each guest room, Adirondack hardwood furnishings and hand-forged accents are accompanied by splendid amenities, from jetted tubs and pillow-top beds to cast iron gas fireplaces (majority) and LCD televisions. Also, there is fully-equipped kitchens with custom Alder cabinetry and granite counters.
Guests can relax in Whiteface Lodge Lake Placid Spa. This intimate, 5,800-square-foot mountain spa hideaway blends the rustic beauty of its setting with a classic Zen ambiance. During the summer months at Kamp Kanu, a day camp for guests between three and 14 years old, children can enjoy playing outdoors and creating artwork through crafts and activities. Each participant is lead by highly qualified and trained counselors through experiments, games and more.
