Aside from housing one of the world’s best collections of mechanical musical instruments, the Milhous Collection auction, on February 24-25, 2012, will showcase a spectacular selection of American classics, including the stunning 1933 Chrysler Custom Imperial with one-off coachwork by LeBaron. Believed to be the last example built, this was the personal car of famed automotive designer Ralph Roberts and his wife and has been beautifully restored with its unique, bespoke features intact. Its remarkable history is known from new.

Other eight-cylinder rarities include a 1932 Stutz DV-32 Convertible Coupe with sporting coachwork in the style of Rollston, the 1975 Pebble Beach Best of Show-winning 1934 Packard Eight Convertible Victoria and a superb 1930 Duesenberg Model J Convertible Sedan by Murphy, owned new by Hollywood actress Dolores del Rio.
The Milhous Collection also features a 1938 Cadillac Sixteen Convertible Coupe as well as a pair of Cadillac Sixteens (one a 1934 Cadillac Sixteen Custom Roadster and the other a 1937 Cadillac Sixteen Custom Phaeton), beautifully built from original Fleetwood designs.
