According to duPont Registry, Aston Martin One-77 has not sold out. It has been confimed by Mark J. Tillman, manager at Aston Martin Tampa Bay that there is still one factory unit left unsold. As one of the rarest and most desirable cars in the world it seems a little odd that it’s taken so long for the 77 cars to sell out.
The car is located in Tampa Bay, Florida, and its exact build number is not known. According to the report, the first and last One-77, build numbers one and 77, were pre-sold to wealthy buyers expecting them to appreciate in value faster than the other 75 One-77 models created.
As a reminder, the One-77 is powered by a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine that develops a total of 750 horsepower with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 mph. It’s also built on a lightweight but strong carbon fiber monocoque.
So if you’ve considering getting your hands one one of these collectibles, better act fast, and bring along something in the neighborhood of $2 million. In any case, there are between five and eight One-77 supercars roaming the streets in the United States, making this one really rare Aston Martin. [duPont Registry]
