David and Victoria Beckham have added one more necessary baby accessory to their already huge collection. Famous couple has purchased a one-off baby monitor specially designed by the British artist Damien Hirst for their 9-month-old daughter Harper Seven. How much, they paid for monitor decorated with another of Hirst’s signature motifs – butterflies, is still unknown, but knowing them, it is certainly a small fortune.
It has to be the most expensive baby monitor in history, a source said.
Beckhams are huge fans of Damien Hirst work, they have collected his several artworks in their multi-million dollar Los Angeles home, including at least three Hirst paintings and a silver bull’s heart which David gave to Victoria as a gift.
Victoria also had a £250,000 pair of heels decorated in Hirst’s Spots, as well as a pair of Manolo Blahnik ankle boots which she swore to never wear outside their home. They are kept in a glass case after she declared: There’s no way I’ll be stepping in any puddles in those.
The couple also has paintings, portraits and sculptures by Banksy, Sam Taylor Wood, Tracey Emin and Jake and Dinos Chapman in their home.
