Sascha Baron Cohen’s fourth film, The Dictator is scheduled for release on May 16. In the film, Sascha Baron Cohen as Admiral General Aladeen, a dictator from a fictional Middle Eastern country, drives a gold-plated armored SUV built by the Vodka enthusiasts at Latvian truck-maker Dartz. To celebrate the movie, Dartz decided to sell off a $750,000 battle truck called the Gold Aladeen Edition based on Cohen’s fictitious dictator.
What makes this story more juicier, the SUV won approval from none other than Pamela Anderson at Monaco this weekend. Anderson was apparently at the Top Marques in Monaco this weekend, which is a car show for the most excessive and expensive cars in the world. Cohen, as Borat, stalked Pamela Anderson in the film of the same name. She obviously likes it, so now they joke together.
Limited to just 10 units, Gold Aladeen Edition supercar ranges from $500,000 to $750,000. Actual price will vary depending on equipment and package options. The car comes equipped with patented 3″ ionized glass, also RPG resistant. And there’s room in back for up to six kidnapped actresses or faded supermodels (this is just one part of the hilarious press release).
