World’s most expensive sunglasses, produced for Chopard by De Rigo Vision, will be showcased in Dubai at The One and Only Royal Mirage on May 14th 2012. The sunglass that worth 1.5m AED ( approx. $400,000 ) are made of 60 grams of 24 carat gold and decorated with 51 full-cut 4 carat River diamonds. The diamonds are set by using a special technique so that the stones are set more closely together than with the classic pavé setting. By being placed this way, the stones create a carpet that lets out a special light. A C is engraved on arms of the glasses.
The general manager of the manufacturer of the glasses Ara Kerry says that the company will be displayed in the glass Dubai Mall which is the largest mall in the Middle East . The city of Dubai is an ideal place to view these unique glasses that were made of which only one piece and we are sure that the eyes of the world will be attracted to the beauty of design and creativity.
With its luxury production and incredible price, this sunglasses certainly deserves to be entered in the Guinness Book of World records.
