New BeoPlay A3 iPad speaker released by Bang & Olufsen as a part of their new brand, B&O PLAY, can find its place in the every home. Designed for any iPad, BeoPlay A3 iPad Speaker works in four configurations, it amps up the iPad’s audio via a 2.75-pound, wedge-shaped dock with three 0.5-inch tweeters and a 2-inch woofer.
With this new product, Bang & Olufsen promise to deliver an enhanced sonic experience for a variety of applications, whether you are listening to music, checking out the latest films or online videos, or holding a video conference with your friends and colleagues.
BeoPlay A3 iPad Speaker is made from polycarbonate plastic with an aluminum frame along with a battery that promises up to five hours of playing time. It’s designed to fit both the first-gen and second-gen iPad thanks to rubber collars that offer a snug fit. Sound is provided by a Class D amplifier, and the speakers have an effective frequency range of 60 to 15,000 Hz.
What is interesting, the Beoplay A3 also boasts a feature called Adaptive Stereo Orientation, which adjust the sound based on how you hold it.
Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A3 will be available in black starting May 21st for $549, with a white version planned for the near future. It will be available in Bang & Olufsen showrooms, select Apple stores and the BeoPlay online store by the end of May 2012.
