ELENA has been meticulously recreated using the original drawings by Nathaniel G.Herreshoff, but without sacrifice to luxury and comfort due to its state-of-the-art engineering and equipment. Guests will have access to all the modern day luxuries and amenities expected on a world class charter yacht including the latest navigation, communication and entertainment systems.
The main salon and dining area span the full beam of the yacht and are bathed in natural light from a large skylight. The lounge area is furnished with rich, red leather couches and beautifully polished mahogany bookshelves, tables, and paneling. In addition, there are CD/DVD system, and a large television cleverly hidden behind a mirror so the modernities do not detract from the old world elegance of the yacht.
The owner’s stateroom is nestled on the port side, at the foot of the main companionway. It is furnished with a double berth, an office-sized desk, seating for two and a particularly spacious bathroom. All five cabins on board ELENA are exquisitely decorated with rich, mahogany paneling and feature ample built in storage, privately controlled air conditioning system and fully loaded iPad. Sumptuous meals, created in the modern galley, equipped with every appliance and ingredient the yacht’s chef and stewardesses need to prepare meals just as you wish, can be served on deck or in the dining room. An expansive deck space with area suitable for the 50 race crew necessary during a serious regatta, or for as many as 80 guests for a cocktail party or corporate event. The deck area offers a 360 degree view to the horizon and beyond, and is equally equipped for enjoying sunny days or relaxing on starlit nights, while a bimini can be erected to provide cover for a refreshing lunch in the shade.
