Some infatuated fans of Elvis Prisley will be delighted to hear that Elvis Prisley’s crypt is set to be auctioned next month. For the price of $100,000, one weird fan can go to eternal rest in the tomb of the King! Darren Julien of Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills is set to offer up King’s crypt on June 23 as part of his “Music Icons” auction.
More precisely, it is about the granite and marble mausoleum at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. Presley was interred there alongside his mother, Gladys, after he died Aug. 16, 1977. Two months later, they were re-buried at his Graceland home. The original crypt has remained empty ever since.

Julien says the winning bid from the auction will receive the crypt, opening and closing of the vault for burial, a memorialization inscription and use of a chapel for a committal service. Transportation and funeral home charges are not included.
Other notable memorabilia to be auctioned: Elvis Presley’s custom made jewelry including E.P. pendant which was given to him in 1971 on stage in Las Vegas. The stunning medallion made of 14k gold and accented with diamonds is expected to fetch $25,000 to $30,000.
Also includes a ripped T-shirt with “Hell” scrawled across it that Keith Richards once wore while playing for the Stones. A robe that Amy Winehouse used in her video for smash hit “Rehab” will be sold, as will memorabilia and clothing owned by David Bowie, John Lennon and Michael Jackson.
