About popularity the famous Japanese cartoon cat Hello Kitty, is superfluous to speak. Now, all lovers of this cute feline friend can enjoy in pampering treatments and therapies in the world’s first Hello Kitty Beauty Spa. Opened last month in Jumeirah, Dubai, Hello Kitty Beauty Spa is themed and specially designed for “Queens” and their little “Princesses”.
Opened in Dubai, designed by Japanese Miyuki Okamura, but the spa has a Parisian theme, complete with luxurious flourishing colours of pink and girly princess interior. Prevails pastel hues of pink, accompanied with silver, and cream on boudoir-style furniture and Hello Kitty themed fixtures such as lavish, cloth-draped pink chandeliers and cushions. All the treatment rooms feature the famous Hello Kitty character, called “Kitty White”, which was created by Yuko Shimizu.
The Hello Kitty Spa is for all girls, young or old, using organic products specially created for sensitive skin for little girls, offers services: nails, facials, hair and make-up. Currently, the spa offers a range of pampering treatments and therapies to Hello Kitty fans from Kitty Glam facials and massages, such as “Kitty-Cure” manicures and “Toe-Tally Perfect” pedicures. There is even a Hello Kitty café that offers themed organic treats such as cupcakes, flavored tea, juices and other desserts.
This is not the first time Hello Kitty has ventured into the beauty industry, having previously snapped up a deal with MAC for her own line of nail polishes. They market a whole range of merchandise under the Kitty White brand including clothes, jewelry, toys like Hello Kitty dolls and even TV shows.
