After launching world’s most expensive and exclusive One-77 car model, Aston Martin has designed one more means of transport in the same number (77) and with the same name, but this time it’s about two-wheeler. In coolaboration with Factor Bikes, a company known for their high-end road-racing bikes, Aston Martin launches a limited edition luxury superbike called the One-77 Cycle!
Based on the Factor001 by Factor Bikes, “the world’s most technologically advanced road bicycle” features the built-in touchscreen computer system that is nestled between the handlebars of the bike like a dashboard to a car. It provide over 100 channels of performance feedback, like traditional measurements (speed, altitude, heart rate, respiration rate and core body temperature), GPS location as well as other measurements such as crank torque, crank force for both legs, leg power, rate of ascent, and acceleration. The bike also built-in front and rear lights via a built-in an integrated lighting system with high-powered LED lights.
Some of the Britain’s finest designers, engineers and specialist manufacturers invested their efforts to attain the ultimate in performance for this One-77 Cycle, just like for One-77 supercar. The One-77 Cycle is made with a carbon frame—that can be painted in seven exclusive Aston Martin colors, and full carbon 8-spke wheels, making it lightweight and ready to race, made even easier by its Japanese-made 21-speed Shimano Dura-Ace gears. Also, the bike hand-stitched saddle and handlebars feature the same leather and custom-stitching that is used in the auto version.
Aston Martin One-77 superbike will be limited to just 77 examples, each priced at £25,000 ($39,300), and orders will start being taken in July 2012. [Factor Bikes]
