The Big One for One Drop is the largest buy-in poker tournament ever, organized by the 43rd Annual World Series of Poker (or affectionately WSOP). This highly regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious tournament will take place in Las Vegas from July 1st to 3rd at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, with a one-million-dollar entry fee, the highest in the history of poker.
Richard Mille designed the trophy bracelet for the winner, and on that way makes his contribution to charity, since this year, the profits from the tournament will be paid to the One Drop Foundation established by Guy Laliberté, creator of Cirque du Soleil, which works to provide third world countries with access to water.
The tonneau-shaped bracelet which symbolizes the One Drop Foundation’s mission, “water for all, all for water”, will feature a beautiful 0.78 carat pear-shaped diamond set in sapphire crystal, which has a thickness of 4/10. On the screen was printed the logo of the “Big One For One Drop” tournament. It took 120 hours to complete the bracelet, since Mille had the entire piece assembled, cambered and enameled by hand.
One of the 48 players who battle it out in this three-day charity event, will win this Richard Mille’s official bracelet for the WSOP, in addition to prize money.
