Baia Yachts, an Italian design and manufacturing company which creates high performance contemporary luxury motor yachts for more than forty years in Naples, proudly introduces its newest 19 meters Yacht – Onda 63′ with the aim to complement and enhance the range of Coupe’ models. Onda 63′ is Wave of beauty, in the true sense of that word (in Italian Onda means Wave)!
Style based on Baia’s earlier models, much praised 70 Italia and the One Hundred flagship, the new Baia’s Onda 63′ boasts with more comfort and new technological innovation. Its accommodation plan is based on a very modular main deck living area, with an interesting sunbridge offering two sunpads on top of the aft extended hardtop part. The aft sun-pad becomes a dining table for 8 people, the forward sun-pad is easy accessible by a wide side walkway. As option, you can have the third sun-pad on the hard top. Due to the elongated windows, the family feeling has been kept, but it also contains elements and styles that give a more modern design. Revolutionary spaces, combining internal and external area separated, if necessary, by a disappearing back door. The internal space is obviously air conditioned, and a side window and a top opening (option) allow great natural air flow.
Below deck the space is amazing, offering choice for two accommodation layouts for up to 12 people: three cabins, or two rooms with an L-shaped saloon settee to port side taking place of guest cabin three. A mid-ship, the guest cabin can be replaced by a dinette. Forward owner’s cabin is spacious and bright. Each cabin has its own bathroom with separate shower. A seperate galley with door, a very much liked Italian feature is located to starboard. Interestingly Baia follows the builders who opt for an owners room to fore, with the queen size berth looking to port side. Crew accomodation is for two bunk berths to starboard.
Power is a standard twin MAN 1400, or optional 1622hp Cat, or 1650 again from the german engine maker. Propulsion continues Baia long time support of Arneson surface drives, its first official user back in the eighties with the B50 Force One, also for this new Onda 63′. [Baia Yachts]
