To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty, renowned watchmaker worked in collaboration with the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation as well as the Gold Leaf Corporation on this timepiece.
Fragments of the statue were recovered during the centenary restoration work and incorporated into the dial, which is designed to look just like the oxidized copper look of the statue today. It has no markers, just the signature color and texture of the statue. Also, 12 spikes on its bronze bezel reminiscent of statue’s famous crown, and on the back you’ll find the flame from her torch illuminating the stars and stripes from the US flag.
The Romain Jerome Liberty DNA watch case is 46mm wide in black PVD steel and bronze. Inside the watch is an RH001-A automatic movement, Just the time with minute and hours on this watch.
