One more product in a host, inspired by James Bond. Not only to mark the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise, but also ahead of launching new movie Skyfall, which premieres in October, the new James Bond 007 Fragrance has revealed. The official James Bond fragrance for men will be available to buy in September from retailers worldwide.
Designed under arrangements between Eon Productions and Procter & Gamble, James Bond 007 fragrance is inspired by the `60s and features notes of apple, cardamom, sandalwood, vetiver, lavender, moss and coumarin that will give you a retro feel. The 007 logo is embossed on the front of the bottle, that looks like it was made in the secret labs of MI6. James Bond 007 will be available in 30, 50, 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette.
Bill Brace, vice president of fashion brands for P&G Prestige said: “The aromatic feugere fragrance family came to prominence in the 60s – it was unmistakably masculine – mossy and ferny. But that was a while ago, so we wanted to move it on and give it a much more modern and sophisticated shell, which is why there’s fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood and vetiver.”
Prices will start at $30 for a small bottle, with the launch kicking off at prestigious UK department store Harrods August 15. It will then be rolled out in other European countries and destinations including North America, India and China as of September. The print ad campaign, which features a silhouette of a man who could be a member of MI6, has been designed by Greg Williams, who has created campaigns for five James Bond films.
