Famous actor and avid pilot, John Travolta, who is Breitling Global Ambassador is in Singapur this week, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of aviation’s iconic timepiece, the Navitimer. And the best way to celebrate this kind of anniversary is to unveil Breitling’s latest limited edition model, the Navitimer Blue Sky. Breitling claims the Navitimer as being the world’s oldest mechanical chronograph still in production.
Navitimer Blue Sky is limited to just 500 pieces globally — making it a true Breitling collector’s piece. In Singapore, only 9 pieces have been allocated, each retailing for S$13,270 on the exclusive dark blue crocodile leather strap or S$14,280 on either the Navitimer bracelet or the original perforated Air Racer bracelet.
Travolta, who personally flies himself and his family to Singapore to unveil the Breitling Navitimer Blue Sky at the Equinox, was was all charm and smiles from the start to the finish, and even answer questions about planes and flying and make eye contact with journalists at the back of the room.
