New York Yankees star, Alex Rodriquez bought his Miami waterfront home in 2010 for $24 million, and now two years later, he placed it on the market for a cool $38 million. It is said that it was at the time when he was dating Cameron Diaz. Construction was just completed 11 months ago, but in the meantime the famous couple broke up.
The 19,861-square-foot home at 4358 North Bay Road comes with a panoramic view of the bay and the Miami skyline. It features nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, gourmet open kitchen, a home theater, a heated pool, covered terraces, gym with a steam room overlooking Biscayne Bay, rooftop deck, an elevator and a 3,000-square-foot sports room complete with a batting cage. Additionaly, the property includes 275 feet of water frontage with not just one but two docks.
According to the New York Daily News, it’s not sure if Yankees third baseman ever lived there. He spends most of the year living in his $6 million New York City condo. But enough to say that the house once belonged to Alex Rodriguez and the value immediately increases.
Mayi de la Vega of Southeby’s International Realty has the listing.
