Rightfully, we can say that the less developed countries are slowly involving in production of supercars beside iconic automakers like the Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati or Porsche. After Croatian Rimac Concept One electric supercar, Slovenia-based automaker Tushek has came out with its Tushek Renovatio T500 supercar, that will debut at the Salon Prive in London on September 6th.
The hand-built by a new automaker founded by a Slovenian race car driver, Aljosa Tushek, new Tushek Renovatio T500 uses aircraft-grade chromoly steel and carbon fiber, which is stronger and harder than standard steel. The top is made from two removable panels that make it an all-in-one roadster, hardtop and coupe. Designed as a lightweight car, weighing in at just 2,500 pounds (weight distribution 47 percent front, 53 percent rear), it has a double wishbone suspension in back with an F1-style pushrod setup in front. The low-slung car reportedly stands a little over 41 inches high with a width of 78 inches and a length of 168 inches.
Tushek Renovatio is powered by an Audi-sourced 4.2-liter V8 making 444 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque. The mid-mounted engine is then paired with an Audi S5 six-speed manual that sends the incredible power to the rear wheels, which helps this supercar to hit the 62 mph mark in just 3.7 seconds and top speed of 200mph.
The “brand ambassador” for Tushek and the T500 is supermodel Harriadnie Beau, who will join Tushek at the Salon Prive in London. Maybe that is one of the reasons since its price is cool $376,000. Additionaly, only 30 cars will be built. So, get ready for September to try supercar.
