The historical French Shipyard Chantier Naval Couach will present its largest vessel ever built – new 5000 Fly La Pellegrina superyacht, at the 2012 Cannes Boat Show from September 11 to 16. Fully built in Glass Kevlar, the 50m charter yacht La Pellegrina is designed by Jean-Pierre Fantini and styled by Daniele Chopard. It weighs only 296T (which is a record for a unit of such a big size) and is able to cruise in amazing comfort at 28 kts in heavy sea conditions.
La Pellegrina can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 amazingly luxurious cabins. The 52 m² master suite on the top deck features a private terrace deck with breathtaking views, a white marble bathroom fitted with an Hammam and a vast dressing room. Her 500m² living space also include a 75m² salon with full height glazed openings offering a spectacular sea view, two kitchens, a bar with dashboard, 6-person Jacuzzi on top of deck, and various other fitness apparatus which completes the onboard equipment. If we talk about technology, there is centralized Entertainment system comprising one video server of 1,000 films, musical library, TV and satellite communication.
Fitted with the lastest generation of engines (2 x 5,300 hp), La Pellegrina superyacht navigates with extraordinary conditions showing a minimal record consumption of 180 L/h at 12 knots. This economic cruising speed enables a complete transatlantic autonomy. Moreover, this splendid vessel integrates the most performing equipments for the waste water treatment. This way, she can navigate in protected sailing zones very strict towards discharges.
