Dalmore Constellation Collection first was released in May at London Heathrow Airport, and now Whyte & Mackay has extended the launch of these 21 world’s rarest single malts in the U.S! The $250,000 collection that consists of a spectrum of vintages created at the Dalmore Highland distillery between the years 1964 and 1992, is launched at the Houston location of Spec’s, one of the largest wine, spirits and fine food retailers in Texas.
“It is with great pleasure to introduce the Constellation Collection at Spec’s and to the United States ,” says David Robertson , Rare Whisky Director at The Dalmore. “These rare bottles of whisky, often referred to as Investment Grade Scotch, are rapidly becoming a hot commodity in the alternative investment market, and outperforming luxury goods such as gold and diamonds. These single cask whiskies from The Dalmore distillery are a truly remarkable piece of craftsmanship. They will certainly stand the test of time and continue to rise in value year after year.”
Each bottle of all 21 whiskies is exactly the same, and housed in a hand-blown and engraved crystal decanter, complete with the Dalmore stag logo in solid silver, and lacquered presentation box. Whyte & Mackay plans to release nine collections in cities including London, Paris and Hong Kong, with a collection available in Moscow by the end of November.
