Theodoros Fotiadis of Hermes & Zeus Design teamed up with Mystic Powerboats, who specialize in design, engineering and manufacture of high-performance powerboats to design its new luxury powerboat called the IF60, that is perfect combination of luxury and performance.
The powerboat’s lightweight and ride comfort comes from the use of a twin-stepped bottom V-hull design made of carbon fiber reinforcements, based on 20 years of stepped hull design history and capable of withstanding up to 6 g’s (a F1 racecar peaks at a g-force of about 5), as well as high-quality materials like Dupont Imron Marine Finishes Paint and e-glass construction. It measures 60 feet (18.3m) long, 13 feet (4m) at its widest point and 8 feet (2.4m) at its tallest.
It’s powered with twin MTU 10V 2000 engines rated at 1,600hp each, coupled with Arneson surface drives, which are known for being among the world’s most efficient propulsion systems. This allows a cruise speed of 60 knots (69 mph) and a nice max speed of 90 knots (104 mph), while the twin 2,200hp turbine-powered version can reach a staggering 180+ knots (200mph+).
The interior includes a galley, master head, guest head, master stateroom and a fort guest stateroom. Stylish electronically adjustable Recaro leather offshore seats are used, with options for either a 3-seat or 7-seat cockpit. This means gives you aft salon seating of either 16 or 12, respectively. A roadster-like windshield and a hardtop option. It has a flip-out swim platform, a bow sun lounge and an aft salon which can be converted into a rear sun lounge.
IF60 also comes with a full electronics package at the helm; a rear hydraulic opening engine hatch; a fully outfitted and finished cabin; safety glass windshield in carbon frame and electronically controllable exhaust flaps, to adjust the sound volume at the touch of a button. Pricing starts at €2,800,000 ($3,650,000) with a range of customizations that can be discussed.
